April is a serial entrepreneur with a 20+ year track record as founder and developer of three home health ventures. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of two of those businesses – Encompass Home Health & Hospice and Homecare Homebase. Encompass Home Health & Hospice is a provider of home care and hospice services to over 20,000 patients per day through a network of 144 offices in 14 states. Homecare Homebase is a leading software technology platform for the home health and hospice industries. April has leveraged her knowledge of the home care industry to create an industry leading technology platform for the home care and hospice industry. The Homecare Homebase solution has grown in prominence and now is the technology of choice for most of the nation’s leading home care and hospice providers. April has led two transformational transactions: Homecare Homebase with the sale of 85% of the HCHB equity to the Hearst Corporation; and the sale of 84% of Encompass to HealthSouth.
