Chief Executive Officer, Healogics

Jeff Nelson is the former President and CEO of Healogics, the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services.

Since joining the company in 2007, Mr. Nelson has overseen the almost three-fold growth of the company. In the fall of 2011, he led the merger and integration of Diversified Clinical Services and National Healing Corporation, which is now Healogics. He brings over two decades of health care industry executive experience to the company.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Nelson was with Thoratec, a California-based implantable medical device business, where he served as President of the Cardiovascular Division. He has also held leadership positions at Philips Medical Systems, ultimately heading the Nuclear Medicine and PET Division.

Mr. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Graduate Management at Northwestern University.
