Kate Sullivan Hare

Kate Sullivan Hare is a nationally recognized health care policy expert with a career that includes working for both the world’s largest retailer, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., and the nation’s largest business lobby, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She has more than 20 years experience in health care policy, strategy and advocacy, with a career that includes senior level appointments at the federal and state levels of government, both legislative and executive branches. She advises employers and their partner entities that seek to ensure an affordable and high quality health system that covers all Americans. Kate offers both political and policy insight to those she advises as well as extensive contacts and credibility with organizations across the ideological spectrum. Her mission is to help craft real solutions among unlikely partners and ensure those good ideas find their way around town, into the media and onto policymakers’ desks. Specialties: Broad media experience including in-depth interviews on all national television networks, National Public Radio and national newspapers as well as popular magazines. Has testified in both the U.S. House of Representatives and United States Senate. Kate is frequent speaker, moderator and panelist at public policy forums, trade shows and investor conferences. Kate earned her Master’s of Health Services Administration from the George Washington University, where she concentrated her studies on finance and strategic planning. She received her undergraduate degree in American Government and English from Georgetown.
