SVP, Growth & Partnerships, Belong Health

Maura McGinn has over 10 years of healthcare industry experience working with high-growth and innovative healthcare organizations. Her domain experience spans operations, professional services, and private equity. Today, Maura is the SVP, Growth and Partnerships for Belong Health, funded by NEA and Maverick Ventures. Belong Health focuses on partnering with Payers/Providers on building effective solutions for MA and complex populations. She joined Belong Health as one of the first 10 employees, first as the SVP, People, where she set foundational talent, HR and compensation strategies and systems, and ensured the company was effectively resourced to execute against early customer demands.

Prior to Belong Health, Maura spent 6 months as an Advisor at TowerBrook Capital, where she supported the efforts of a new investment to build out a management team and develop a human capital strategy to enable the business to achieve its aggressive growth goals, and performed human capital due diligence on potential investment targets. Maura spent almost five years with Bright Health, where she was the SVP, People (Chief People Officer). She was one of the first twenty employees at Bright Health and ensured that the company’s human capital infrastructure enabled the organization to achieve its growth objectives and ultimately an IPO. During her tenure, the organization grew to 1,500 employees through organic and inorganic growth and grew from no revenue to over $1 billion in revenue. Maura began her healthcare industry experience with Oxeon Partners as employee number seven. She led executive search efforts for a variety of Oxeon’s hallmark clients and had internal responsibility for search firm performance and customer success.

Maura earned a BA from Davidson College (2011) and an Executive MBA from Columbia Business School (2021).
