Robert W. Musslewhite serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Advisory Board Company, a research, technology, and consulting firm serving the health care and higher education industries. With a membership of more than 4,100 organizations worldwide, the company has revenues of $500 million, employs more than 2,400 professionals across nine offices in the U.S. and overseas, and trades under the symbol ABCO on NASDAQ. Mr. Musslewhite joined the company in 2003 to lead strategic planning and growth strategy, later moving to oversee the firm’s nascent technology division before becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2008. Prior to joining The Advisory Board Company, Mr. Musslewhite was an Associate Principal in the Washington, DC, Amsterdam, and Dallas offices of McKinsey & Company, serving a range of clients in consumer products and other industries and co-leading McKinsey’s Pricing Center. He holds a JD from Harvard Law School and an AB in economics from Princeton University
