Tami Simon is a nationally recognized health, wellness, and workforce strategy business leader. Named one of the 25 Most Influential Women in Benefit Consulting by Employee Benefit Adviser, Ms. Simon is a Managing Director and the Global Practice Leader of Conduent’s (formerly Xerox, Buck Consultants) HR Services Knowledge Resource Center. The Knowledge Resource Center is responsible for the firm’s cross-practice government relations/policy, thought leadership, publications, research, legal compliance consulting, surveys, and training. She also led the Career Practice, comprised of talent management, management and compensation consulting.
Before joining Conduent, Ms. Simon was a Principal with Mercer. Earlier in her career, she worked for McDermott, Will & Emery, Hewitt Associates and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. She also served as a judicial intern for the Iowa District Court. Ms. Simon has testified before the US Congress and Federal Government agencies and has presented for numerous programs, including those of the Harvard Business School, American Law Institute, American Benefits Council, ERISA Industry Committee, Society for HR Management, and the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists. She has authored numerous articles in nationally recognized industry publications and has also been quoted by leading news outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg BNA, The Atlantic, Business Week, CFO Magazine, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, US News & World Report, Washington Business Journal, and Yahoo Finance. Ms. Simon is on the board of directors for the Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO), the Employee Benefits Research Institute (EBRI), and Emeriti Retirement Health Solutions, and on the advisory board of the ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC). Ms. Simon received a JD, with distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law, where she was an editor of the Law Review. She earned a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a member of the Illinois Bar.
