They are also behind the sourcing of the senior talent that enables Waud to build world-class executive teams. Tim and his team work to identify and build long-term relationships that have resulted in their large pool of senior talent, and they serve as strategic partners to the CEOs and boards of the companies in which they invest. Tim is also an active member of WCP’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.

Tim’s experience in private equity human capital leadership goes back to 2006, when he joined Highland Capital Management and eventually held the role of Managing Director and Head of Talent Management. Just prior to joining WCP, he led T4 Capital Talent, a human capital advisory business he founded to serve the private equity industry.

Tim holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Outside of WCP, Tim is an active dad to four kids and can often be found running along Chicago’s lakefront.
