Trace Devanny joined Nuance Communications as President of Nuance Healthcare in April 2014. He is the immediate past chairman and CEO of the Trizetto Group where he led overall operations and corporate functions for the company. Trizetto is a leading provider of information technology for the US health insurance industry. Devanny has more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in the healthcare industry, having held senior management roles in software, technology and healthcare informatics. Prior to joining Trizetto he was president of Cerner corporation for eleven years, a global provider of healthcare solutions. Earlier in his career, Devanny was president and COO of ADAC Healthcare Information Systems and held a series of executive positions with IBM, including leading IBM’s healthcare business in the Mid-Atlantic states. Devanny holds a BA degree from the University of the South.
