Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Lumeris & Essence Group Holdings

Lumeris, operating as a subsidiary of Essence Group Holdings, is a pioneer in population health management solutions offering technology and consulting services that enable healthcare organizations to successfully make the journey from volume to value-based care. Mr. Long joined Lumeris from Move, Inc. where he served as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Long served as Chief Executive Officer at Healtheon, now operating as WebMD, and later as the Company’s Chairman. Earlier in his career, he worked with Continuum, which he led through its acquisition by Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). Mr. Long holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
